The labyrinth’s winding turns give it the form of a thinking brain. It is an instruction, a dance, a vessel. Like a creeping whisper from the forest, it is inviting you in. The labyrinth is a riddle with an answer hidden within itself.

JONFFRWN is a noa-name for the island of Blåkulla, or Blå Jungfrun, whose highly varied landscape rests like a stone upon the blue line of the horizon off the coast of Öland. During the 16th century, the name Blåkulla was considered unnecessarily dangerous to pronounce aloud, and the island was instead referred to as Blå Jungfrun.
